Collector Crypt's CARDS Surges 19% as Pump.fun Adds Its Gacha Card Packs

Editorial digital-art illustration in the CoinTelegraph style: a giant glowing gacha capsule machine pouring shimmering trading cards down over a rising green candlestick price chart, a smartphone in the foreground erupting with a golden pack-opening burst of light, neon gold and deep teal palette, cinematic lighting, ultra-detailed painterly 16:9 composition, no text.

Published October 20, 2026, 10:00 PM PKT. Based on CoinGecko market data observed October 20, 2026 (primary source for market figures), Crypto Briefing's reporting of October 19, 2026 (primary source for the integration and launch-day figures), with additional reporting from Pluang and a summary of Pine Analytics' third-quarter report published by SolanaCompass (secondary sources).

Pump.fun, the Solana platform best known as a factory for memecoins, has started selling trading card packs. On October 19, 2026, the app integrated Collector Crypt's gacha pack-opening feature and its trading card game marketplace, and Collector Crypt's native token CARDS jumped 19% on the news, according to CoinGecko data cited by Crypto Briefing. The move folds physical collectibles into the onchain trading loop that made Pump.fun a household name during memecoin season: users buy randomized packs of tokenized, graded trading cards, then trade the pulls onchain or redeem them for the physical cards.

Two million dollars in packs on day one

The early numbers suggest this was more than a novelty tab. Users opened approximately $2 million worth of packs on the first day, coming from about 1,700 new users who engaged with the feature, Crypto Briefing reported. That launch-day volume carried real weight inside Collector Crypt's own business: Pump.fun's users drove roughly 20% of Collector Crypt's total daily gachapon volume on day one, according to the same report, a figure Pluang's coverage echoed. The pack inventory spans Pokemon, One Piece and a range of sports cards, according to Crypto Briefing.

How the pack machine works

Collector Crypt's model sits at the intersection of physical collectibles and onchain trading. Each digital pack is linked to physical trading cards. Once a card is pulled, the owner can trade it on the blockchain or redeem it for the physical item, according to Crypto Briefing. The randomness is handled by a verifiable random function, a cryptographic method designed so anyone can verify after the fact that a draw was not rigged. Collector Crypt also offers a buyback on pulled cards: depending on the pack tier, it will repurchase cards at 85% to 93% of their insured value. That buyback floor puts a number on the gacha downside, though Pluang noted the model carries risks tied to its chance-based nature and the discount built into those buyback values.

CARDS price nears its all-time high

CARDS traded at about $0.332 at the time of writing on October 20, up 18.1% over 24 hours, 16.8% over seven days and 95.9% over 30 days, according to CoinGecko data observed at 16:51 UTC. The token changed hands on about $33.3 million of 24-hour volume, with a market capitalization near $299.7 million, ranking 147th. The rally has brought CARDS within striking distance of its all-time high of $0.381443, set on September 14, 2025, according to CoinGecko. Of the 2 billion CARDS maximum supply, about 902.6 million were circulating, per the same data.

A record quarter before the launch

The Pump.fun integration landed on top of an already strong quarter for the trading-card app. Pine Analytics published a third-quarter report on October 12, 2026, finding that Collector Crypt took a record $433.5 million in pack payments in the third quarter of 2026, according to a summary of the report published by SolanaCompass. The same summary noted that 548 wallets supplied 83% of the volume, and that the report carries no disclosure of any relationship between Pine Analytics and Collector Crypt. CARDS launched on August 29, 2025, through the Metaplex Genesis Launch Pool, according to Phemex's token profile.
