Infinity Ground (AIN) Surges 216% as AI Tokens Lead Rotation
Published October 27, 2026, 10:00 PM PKT. Based on CoinGecko market data (primary source) and reports and screeners from CoinMarketCap, JustScreener, KuCoin, OKX and RecodeX published October 27, 2026 (secondary sources).
Infinity Ground (AIN) traded near $0.1576 on October 27, 2026, up about 216% in 24 hours, according to CoinGecko, after a day in which the token climbed CoinGecko trending searches to third place and its trading volume reached $132.3 million. The move extends a run that has now gained about 290% in seven days and about 619% in 30 days, according to the same data, and it puts a small AI infrastructure token at the center of the day's altcoin rotation while Bitcoin held near $80,000. No project announcement, exchange listing or protocol event has been confirmed as the catalyst, and the clearest warnings in the data come from the derivatives market, where leveraged positions have grown larger than the token's own market value.
The surge in numbers
CoinGecko's snapshot put AIN at $0.1576, up 216.1% in 24 hours, with a market capitalization of $29.26 million, 24 hour trading volume of $132.3 million and a market rank of 659. The 24 hour range ran from $0.0466 to $0.1637, a spread that shows how fast the price moved inside a single session, and the circulating supply stood at 185.3 million AIN out of a maximum supply of 1 billion, meaning only about 18.5% of the total supply is in circulation. The token's all time high remains $0.2050, set on September 15, 2026, according to CoinGecko, so even after this surge AIN still traded roughly 23% below its record.
The day's snapshots from other trackers show the move accelerating through the session rather than arriving in one jump. OKX recorded AIN at $0.10995, up 189.06% in 24 hours, in its October 27 update, while KuCoin's price page later showed $0.1573, up 207.45% in 24 hours, with a 24 hour range of $0.04233 to $0.1675 and a seven day gain of 289.69%. CoinMarketCap's AI price analysis dated October 27 had earlier put the token at $0.0742, up 95.75% in 24 hours. The figures differ because they were captured at different times of the day and from different venue coverage, but they agree on the direction and the scale: a triple digit percentage gain built on tens of millions of dollars in volume. One data note matters for readers checking prices themselves. Binance's spot market lists no AIN trading pair, so CoinGecko is the price source for this article, and the derivatives figures below come from third party screeners, not from a directly verified Binance feed.
What Infinity Ground builds
Infinity Ground describes itself as blockchain infrastructure for so-called vibe coders, people who build software by describing what they want in natural language rather than writing code line by line. According to the project's CoinGecko description, its products are a decentralized Agentic IDE, an AI App Store and the ING Network, built around the idea that software is co-created with AI agents in a decentralized, censorship resistant environment. The token is a BNB Smart Chain asset, with contract address 0x9558a9254890b2a8b057a789f413631b9084f4a3, according to CoinGecko and Bitget, and JustScreener dates the project's launch to 2024.
That positioning is what ties AIN to the day's wider narrative. It is not a payments token, a meme coin or a layer 1 chain competing on speed, and its pitch is that AI assisted building, rather than any single app, is the product. Whether that pitch justifies a market capitalization near $29 million after a 619% monthly gain is a separate question from whether traders are buying the narrative today, and the evidence so far points to the narrative doing the work, not a new product release.
The AI rotation behind the move
KuCoin's October 27 trends note framed the day plainly: AI tokens are quietly taking over the market while Bitcoin sits flat near $80,000. The note named Nillion as the most searched coin on CoinGecko at the time, Quack AI as still one of the biggest movers, and Infinity Ground as up 200%, and it identified the narrative getting real attention as privacy plus AI agents plus on chain execution. CoinMarketCap's AI price analysis reached the same conclusion from the market data, describing the surge as sector rotation and retail FOMO, with social media chatter about a new altcoin season pulling speculative capital into smaller tokens, and it named Quack AI and Ginnan The Cat as fellow gainers the same day. Its analysis was explicit on the key point: no coin specific catalyst was visible in the data it reviewed.
That honesty matters because it rules out the most common misreading of a day like this. A 216% gain with no announcement is not the same as a 216% gain on a product launch, and the absence of a catalyst does not make the move fake, but it does make it fragile. Rotations into small tokens can reverse as fast as they arrive when attention moves on, and with only 18.5% of supply circulating, relatively small flows can move the price a long way in either direction.
Leverage at extremes: open interest above market value
The derivatives data is where the rally looks most stretched. JustScreener's October 27 snapshot put AIN at $0.1372, up 243.87% in 24 hours, with a 24 hour range of $0.0397 to $0.1444, perpetual futures open interest of 425 million AIN, worth $58.26 million, and an average funding rate of positive 0.0836%, meaning long positions were paying shorts to stay open. Its technical summary flagged the 14 period relative strength index at 70, in overbought territory, and volume running about 5.96 times its recent average. RecodeX's October 27 token data daily, using data as of October 26 at 23:09 UTC, went further: open interest of $20.5 million against a market capitalization of $12.5 million at that earlier snapshot, an open interest to market capitalization ratio of 164.1%, a funding rate of 0.1120% per interval, equal to about 245.4% annualized, 74.8% of accounts long, and a top trader long to short ratio of 2.08.
In plain terms, leveraged bets on AIN now exceed the value of the token itself, most of those bets are long, and longs are paying a steep rate to hold them. That structure can push prices higher while fresh longs keep arriving, but it also means a modest pullback can force leveraged longs to sell, which pushes the price lower and forces more selling. Readers should treat the screeners' figures as attributed estimates, not exchange confirmed data, since Binance's futures API is unavailable from this reporting environment, but the direction of all three signals, extreme open interest, extreme funding and crowded longs, points the same way: this is a momentum trade running on leverage, not a quiet accumulation.
What is not known, and what to watch
Three things remain unconfirmed. First, no Infinity Ground announcement, partnership, listing or upgrade has been identified in the last 48 hours that explains the timing of the move. Second, no major exchange has announced a new AIN listing in that window. Third, the token's own trading history shows this is not its first volatile episode: the September 15 all time high of $0.2050 sits above today's price, so buyers at the top of that earlier run are still underwater. What to watch next is straightforward. If trading volume stays near today's $132.3 million level and funding rates cool without a sharp price break, the move has room to consolidate. If volume fades while funding stays extreme, the crowded long trade is the likeliest source of the next sharp move, and it would probably be down. Either way, the catalyst question stays open until the project itself says something, and until then this rally belongs in the rotation column, not the fundamentals column.
