Bitget AI Hackathon S2 Offers $50,000 Prize Pool as Winners Near October 8 Reveal
Published October 7, 2026, 15:00 UTC. Based on Bitget's Hackathon Season 2 activity page and an @Bitget_AI announcement posted October 3, 2026.
Bitget AI is running season 2 of its crypto hackathon, "Build What Trades Next", with a total prize pool of 50,000 USDT spread across three agentic-trading tracks, according to the exchange's hackathon activity page. Winners are scheduled to be announced on October 8, 2026.
Season 1 of the competition drew more than 700 AI agent submissions, Bitget said, and the second season lists more than 30 ecosystem partners spanning exchanges, chains, data platforms and funds. The @Bitget_AI account named Arbitrum and ArbitrumDevs as judges for this round in a post on October 3, 2026.
The 50,000 USDT prize breakdown
The pool is split into several award types, all paid to Bitget accounts, according to the activity page. One first prize of 3,000 USDT goes to the overall winner. Fifteen themed awards of 500 USDT each cover one winner per sub-theme, and six open-topic awards of 500 USDT each go to two projects per track.
Community and outreach awards round out the pool. Three "most popular project" awards of 300 USDT each are decided by public vote and can stack with other prizes, while three "best outreach" awards of 300 USDT each go to one project per track, excluding KOLs and KOCs. Ten university awards of 500 USDT each target student teams.
The three tracks
The competition runs three tracks that share the prize pool. Alpha Factory covers quantitative strategies such as arbitrage, cross-market strategies and tokenized-stock factor strategies. Agentic Trading focuses on LLM-driven agents that perceive market conditions and place orders with risk controls, including event-driven, sentiment and cross-asset agents. AI Trading Desk covers natural-language AI research dashboards where the AI analyzes and the trader decides.
The season 2 timeline
Submissions opened September 3 and closed September 21, followed by public voting from September 22 to 28, according to the activity page. Winners will be announced on October 8.
