Cryptocurrency exchange Binance will permanently shut down its Binance Pool mining service and related products on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC, the company announced on Tuesday, ending an operation that has been running for more than six years.
November 10, 07:00 UTC
The shutdown covers Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator and related features, including mining pool APIs and Telegram and email hashrate notifications, according to the announcement. Crypto trader and analyst Wu Blockchain first flagged the notice on X on October 13.
At 07:00 UTC on November 10, Binance will begin disconnecting mining connections and will disable its mining pool Stratum addresses and mining endpoints. Hashrate submissions and mining shares sent after that time will no longer be accepted, processed or credited, and the affected products will stop generating rewards, yields or service benefits.
Binance urged miners to redirect their computing power to alternative mining pools before the deadline to avoid interruptions. Users with active Pool Savings positions were advised to redeem or unsubscribe before the closure date, Cointelegraph reported.
Rewards, records and settlements
Binance said eligible outstanding rewards, balances, refunds and settlements will be processed after the shutdown, subject to applicable product rules, account status, risk controls and compliance checks. Eligibility will be determined under the Mining Pool Product Terms, according to the announcement reproduced by TradingView News.
Users will have until November 24 to access historical mining records and payout information. After that date the pool's pages become permanently inaccessible, Cointelegraph reported.
Launched in April 2020
Binance launched its mining pool in April 2020, initially supporting Bitcoin mining before expanding to other cryptocurrencies, Cointelegraph reported. The closure comes as miners increasingly pivot toward AI data center infrastructure in 2026, though Binance attributed the decision only to an ongoing review of its products and services and gave no specific reason.
Cointelegraph said it reached out to Binance for more information but had not received an immediate response.
