Quack AI (Q) Smashes All-Time High, Up 132% in a Day as AI Agent Trading Frenzy Builds

By MABOnChain Desk · Published · Updated · 4 min read

Editorial digital-art illustration in the CoinTelegraph style: a monumental brass mechanical duck figure bursting upward through a shattered glass price chart, flocks of glowing green candlesticks streaming skyward behind it, golden coins erupting like fireworks, a lattice of luminous AI-agent network nodes and circuit traces filling a deep indigo background, bold painterly brushstrokes, cinematic rim lighting, dramatic orange and cyan palette, 16:9 wide composition.

Published October 17, 2026, 22:05 PKT. Based on CoinGecko market data observed at 16:52 UTC on October 17, 2026 (primary source), CoinGecko's search trending data (primary source), the CoinGecko and Phantom project descriptions of Quack AI (primary sources), CoinMarketCap's AI price analysis dated October 17, 2026 (secondary source), Bitget's Quack AI guide (secondary source), Pluang's October 17, 2026 market report (secondary source), Bybit's Quack AI price page (secondary source), and Bitrue (secondary source).

Quack AI's Q token set a new all-time high of $0.1299 on October 17, 2026, at 16:22 UTC, according to CoinGecko, extending a one-day rally of 132% and a seven-day gain of 311%. The token topped CoinGecko's trending chart as 24-hour trading volume spiked to $90.9 million, and its market capitalization climbed to roughly $603 million, ranking 108th among all cryptocurrencies.

The record-breaking rally

Q traded at $0.1286 when the data was observed at 16:52 UTC, according to CoinGecko, with the session's range bottoming near $0.0519 before the breakout, according to Bybit's price page. The prior all-time high sat near $0.0709, so the new record represents a jump of roughly 83% past the old ceiling in a single push. Pluang reported on October 17 that Q and Hive Dollar both set record highs, rising more than 700% from their historical lows; Q's all-time low of $0.00527092 dates to March 28, 2026, according to Bybit. CoinMarketCap's AI price analysis, written earlier in the day when Q traded at $0.0834 with a 51% gain, called the move "record-high catalyst" momentum and flagged a 425% spike in trading volume to $68.3 million as speculative buying piled in.

A volume spike that dwarfed the rally

The most striking figure is not the price but the turnover. CoinGecko put 24-hour volume at $90.9 million against a $602.6 million market cap, meaning nearly a sixth of the token's entire value changed hands in one day. CoinMarketCap's analysis noted the volume surge arrived as Bitcoin slipped 0.37% and the total crypto market cap fell 0.75%, making Q's rally an outlier that was, in its words, "decoupled from broader market trends." No new listing, partnership or protocol announcement has been publicly tied to the move; the analysis found no clear secondary driver in its data and described the surge as driven by momentum and breakout trading rather than a fundamental product update.

What Quack AI actually does

Quack AI describes itself as the governance layer for what it calls the Agent Economy, where AI agents, users and applications interact under verifiable rules, according to the project's CoinGecko and Phantom listings. Its x402 standard is designed to enable sign-to-pay and gasless transactions across blockchains, supported by a facilitator relay system, a policy engine and governance intelligence modules. The pitch, in short, is execution infrastructure that makes automated on-chain actions by AI agents secure, compliant and transparent. Bitget's guide notes partnerships with WORLD3 and GT Protocol on autonomous-worlds and AI automation work, and integrations with Bitget, OKX and Gate wallets.

The backers, the unlocks and the supply math

Quack AI raised $3.6 million in July 2025 from investors including Animoca Brands, DWF Ventures, Kenetic Capital, Skyland Ventures and Merlin Chain, according to Bitget's guide. The token is an ERC-20 on Ethereum at contract address 0xc07e1300dc138601fa6b0b59f8d0fa477e690589, and its listed circulating supply is about 4.71 billion Q against a 10 billion maximum, according to CoinGecko, Bybit and Phantom. Supply overhangs matter for rallies like this one: the team allocation of 10%, or 1 billion Q, unlocked in September 2026 after a 12-month cliff, Bitget reported, and a scheduled unlock on September 1, 2026 released about 248.6 million Q, roughly 5.7% of the pre-unlock circulating supply, into a 24-month linear vesting schedule, according to Bitrue.

Where Q trades, and where it does not

Q's liquidity is spread across second-tier centralized venues: CoinGecko's ticker list shows the deepest activity on PancakeSwap V3 on BNB Chain, followed by the Bithumb KRW pair, Gate, Bitget, DigiFinex, KuCoin, Kraken and MEXC. Notably, the token has no spot listing on Binance, which means the rally is being driven without access to the world's deepest retail order book. The Bithumb KRW pair is the single largest centralized-exchange listing by volume on the CoinGecko ranking, a pattern that has historically amplified momentum runs in East Asian trading hours.

What the breakout leaves behind

Technically the token is in uncharted territory, which cuts both ways. CoinMarketCap's AI analysis, written before the record fell, pointed to $0.07 as the support to watch, with $0.10 as the next target and a break below $0.055 as the level that would signal profit-taking taking hold; with the price now above $0.12, those markers have shifted a full leg higher. Q has rallied 168% on the week even by that earlier snapshot, and CoinMarketCap's deep-dive described it as "strongly bullish but vulnerable to a sharp pullback if momentum fades." With no identified fundamental catalyst, sustained volume is the thing to watch: CoinMarketCap's analysis suggested daily volume above $30 million would confirm continued interest, a bar the day's $90.9 million cleared three times over.

October 17, 2026 · 4 min read

U.S. Central Command chief Adm. Axios reported the freeze involved the Treasury Department, and that CENTCOM has mostly paused strikes on Iranian positions on a White House order meant to avoid escalation before the U.S. midterm elections.
