KuCoin Lists Incentiv's CENT as World Premiere, Triple-Exchange Debut Goes Live October 12
Published October 12, 2026, 22:10 PKT. Based on KuCoin’s “World Premiere: Incentiv (CENT) Listed on KuCoin” announcement, and reporting by BitcoinInsider, The Crypto Basic and Cryptolaxy.
KuCoin is giving Incentiv’s native token its first exchange home. On October 11, the exchange announced that CENT would be available on its spot trading platform under its “World Premiere” designation, and trading in CENT/USDT opened at 9:00 UTC on October 12, 2026 after a one-hour call auction. Deposits on the Incentiv Network went live immediately with the announcement, while withdrawals open at 10:00 UTC on October 13.
The October 12 launch sequence
KuCoin laid out the listing in four steps. Deposits opened on the Incentiv Network with immediate effect. A call auction ran from 08:00 to 09:00 UTC on October 12, followed by the opening of the CENT/USDT spot market at 9:00 UTC. Withdrawals stay closed until 10:00 UTC on October 13. When spot trading began, KuCoin also switched on trading bots for the pair, including Spot Grid, Infinity Grid, DCA, Smart Rebalance, Spot Martingale, Spot Grid AI Plus and AI Spot Trend. The Crypto Basic reported the same schedule in its October 11 daily roundup. One discrepancy is worth noting: KuCoin’s announcement-index summary listed trading at 10:00 UTC, while its detailed listing notice says 9:00 UTC, as BitcoinInsider pointed out. CENT did not debut on KuCoin alone, according to Cryptolaxy: Gate and MEXC opened CENT/USDT trading the same morning at 9:00 UTC, making it a triple-exchange listing day for the token.
An EVM layer 1 that still runs on proof of work
Incentiv describes itself as an EVM-compatible proof-of-work Layer 1, according to KuCoin’s notice. That combination is rare: most new Layer 1s launched in recent years use proof of stake, while Incentiv’s network is secured by participants spending computational effort to validate blocks, the mechanism Bitcoin originally used. KuCoin says the chain is built around native advanced account abstraction, programmable accounts and flexible fee payments. Its incentive economy rewards participants for real contributions to network growth in CENT, while the activity they generate creates demand for the token through fee settlement. Incentiv’s next stated step is an open ecosystem where AI agents can use applications, access resources and make payments on behalf of the people and applications that create them. Cryptolaxy reports that CENT has a fixed supply of 100 billion tokens. These are the project’s stated design features, not independently measured evidence of network adoption or of the token’s investment value.
KuCoin’s World Premiere playbook
“World Premiere” is KuCoin’s label for a token it lists before any other exchange, a designation it has used repeatedly to draw early volume and visibility to new projects ahead of listings elsewhere. The Incentiv campaign that goes with it is large: KuCoin is giving away 17,241,380 CENT in a listing campaign that runs from 9:00 UTC on October 12 to 9:00 UTC on October 19, according to BitcoinInsider. The GemSlot Carnival pool, worth 14,021,380 CENT, splits into a 4,000,000 CENT lucky draw for users who trade at least $250 of CENT during the campaign period, and a 10,021,380 CENT trading carnival shared among traders by volume. New users earn double rewards, CENT/USDT volume counts at double weight toward the trading carnival, and rewards are capped at 175,000 CENT per user.
KuCoin’s own risk warning
KuCoin attached its standard caution to the announcement, writing that investing in cryptocurrency is “akin to being a venture capital investor” and urging users to assess their own risk before buying. The exchange says it screens tokens before listing them, but adds that risks remain even with due diligence and that it is not liable for investment gains or losses.

The collateral integration remains subject to final documentation, testing, regulatory requirements and internal approvals, and the bank gave no launch date.
